新東方：2010春高口翻譯“譯”刀兩斷

高級(jí)口譯中譯英部分散文一直是重點(diǎn)。這一次，散文再次如約而至。漢語(yǔ)散文形散神不散，翻譯成英語(yǔ)，我們要做到“形不散神不散”，采用多種連接方式把散亂的信息串連起來(lái)。
并列信息我們比較容易把握，通過(guò)簡(jiǎn)單的連詞and或者as well as等就能串連起來(lái)。如：
年近古稀的我，應(yīng)該說(shuō)是飽經(jīng)風(fēng)霜、世事洞明了。但依然時(shí)而明白，時(shí)而懵懂。
譯文：Approaching the age of 70, I should be said to be weather-beaten and insightful about the mundane affairs yet I’m still alternately sober and muddled.
這種自由，既是無(wú)限的，又是有限的，無(wú)限的從心所欲寓于有限的生活空間。
譯文：Such freedom is infinite as well as finite in that the infinite liberty of mind is confined in the finite living sphere.
對(duì)于具備主從關(guān)系的分句，體現(xiàn)了各種邏輯關(guān)系，我們可以恰當(dāng)?shù)胤治龇志溟g的關(guān)系，增添連接詞語(yǔ)，恰當(dāng)連接。如：
孔子曰：“七十而從心而欲，不逾矩。”大概已達(dá)到大徹大悟的思想境界了吧。
譯文：When Confucius said: “Once I was seventy I was able to follow my heart’s desire freely without overstepping the bounds”, he must have achieved supreme enlightenment.
（老年人的從心所欲），就是要有自己的的活法，在心靈深處構(gòu)筑獨(dú)自的“自由王國(guó)”。
譯文：It means that we, after the discovery of our individual way of living, build our own “Realm of Liberty” in the depths of our minds.
