1.對(duì)話中Ms. Li說(shuō)Sam太吵了，一點(diǎn)也不安靜，所以來(lái)找他算帳。keep the noise down. 別制造那么多的噪音，就是安靜一點(diǎn)。

2.當(dāng)Ms. Li敲Sam的房門(mén)的時(shí)候，他剛剛洗完澡，I just got out of the shower! 那I'm in a shower.就是我正在洗澡。現(xiàn)在還不能來(lái)開(kāi)門(mén)，I can't answer the door right now! answer這個(gè)詞可以是接聽(tīng)電話，answer the phone，也可以是answer the door，去開(kāi)門(mén)。

3.Ms. Li想跟Sam談?wù)勱P(guān)于那些客人和音樂(lè)的事，可能是來(lái)訪的客人很多，音樂(lè)聲音放的很大，影響到了別人。但是Sam隔著門(mén)聽(tīng)不見(jiàn)房東說(shuō)話，說(shuō)半個(gè)小時(shí)后再談。房東很生氣，說(shuō)You'd better. 你最好過(guò)來(lái)，言外之意就是如果你不過(guò)來(lái)的話，就跟你沒(méi)完。

4.房東抱怨說(shuō)the noise you've been making is unbearable.你制造的噪音讓人無(wú)法忍受。make noise, 制造噪音。unbearable, 讓人無(wú)法忍受的。那么這句話還可以說(shuō)成，I can't bear the noise you've been making. 但是Sam說(shuō)他沒(méi)有聽(tīng)見(jiàn)任何噪音，懷疑是不是從樓下傳來(lái)的?？墒欠繓|堅(jiān)持說(shuō)是從樓上傳來(lái)的。
