今天繼續(xù)我們的故事，卡洛斯和莎拉開始了他們的第一次約會(huì)，約會(huì)時(shí)無疑發(fā)生了不少有趣的插曲，究竟是什么事讓莎拉陷入難堪的處境呢？讓我們一起進(jìn)入今天的對(duì)話，共同找尋答案。

場(chǎng)景一

Carlos: Hi, guys!
卡洛斯:嗨,伙計(jì)們!

Johnny: Hello there! So? How did it go?
約翰尼:嗨!事情進(jìn)行得如何?

Carlos:How did what go?
卡洛斯：什么事情進(jìn)展得如何？

Fadi: Come on! Your date with Sara! How was it?
法迪:說嘛!你和莎拉約會(huì)的怎么樣?

Johnny:Go on, give us details.
約翰尼：快點(diǎn)說啊，我們要聽細(xì)節(jié)。

場(chǎng)景二

Carlos: "Black Box" it was called...
卡洛斯:在“黑盒子”約會(huì)的。

Johnny: Hmmm...Sounds more like a nightclub.
約翰尼:額…這個(gè)名字聽起來更像是個(gè)夜總會(huì)。

Carlos: Well, it was at this new art gallery.
卡洛斯:這是一個(gè)新藝術(shù)畫廊。

場(chǎng)景三

Carlos: There were quite a lot of people there, and everyone was really fashionable...
卡洛斯:那里有很多人，并且每個(gè)人都穿著的很時(shí)尚。

Carlos: Yeah...Everyone was wearing black! I felt really scruffy...
卡洛斯:是啊……每個(gè)人都穿著黑色的衣服。這讓我感覺自己的穿著很不搭調(diào)。

Johnny: Scruffy?
約翰尼:穿著不搭調(diào)？

Fadi: Scruffy- badly dressed...
法迪:衣服搭配的很糟糕么...

Carlos: Then there were some big photographs on the walls...
卡洛斯:一些很大幅的畫掛在墻上…

Johnny: So what was the art like?
約翰尼:這些畫是什么流派的?

Carlos: Art? I didn't think it was art...There were some TVs showing some pictures of a man walking around an empty room...
卡洛斯:藝術(shù)嗎?我并不認(rèn)為這是藝術(shù)…還有一些畫著一個(gè)人在空曠的屋子里走動(dòng)的照片在用電視展示著…

場(chǎng)景五

Johnny: OK - I like photography...
約翰尼:這個(gè)不錯(cuò)啊。我喜歡攝影…

Carlos: Yeah, me too- but there were all blurred, out of focus -you couldn't see what they were potographs of...
卡洛斯:對(duì)啊,我也是——但你從這些照片中根本找不到重點(diǎn)，甚至你都看不出他們想通過這個(gè)照片來表達(dá)什么。

Carlos: ...So, I was trying to be interested, you know, to impress sarah really...
卡洛斯：但是...我試著讓自己對(duì)這些照片感興趣來給薩拉留下個(gè)好印象。

Fadi: Of course...
法迪:當(dāng)然應(yīng)該這樣了…

Johnny: What was Sara doing?
約翰尼:薩拉在干什么呢?

Carlos: Well, Sara was talking to another man, so I went uo to them. Sara introduces me...And then he says "What do you think?" And I said "Well, I think the photographs are out of focus".
卡洛斯:我看到莎拉在和另外一個(gè)男人說話我就走過去了，然后薩拉把我介紹給了這個(gè)人。接著他就說:“這幅畫你認(rèn)為怎么樣”我說“我覺得這些畫沒有重點(diǎn)”。

場(chǎng)景七

Fadi: Fair enough...
法迪:說的不錯(cuò)啊。

Carlos: But then the man, he gets really angry, and walk off...
卡洛斯:但是我剛說完那個(gè)人就變得很生氣，然后走開了...

Johnny: Oh...
約翰尼:哦…

Carlos: And Sara looks really embarrassed...
卡洛斯:并且莎拉看起來好尷尬…

Fadi: Why?
法迪:為什么?

Carlos: It turns out, well, this man, he was the artist...
卡洛斯:原來這個(gè)人就是這幅畫的作者...

ALL: Oh no...
大家:噢，真糟糕...
