老美動不動就想 bet 這個那個。I bet you Joy will be late.
回答法：
① You're on 來啊！
② You're going down/Bring it on 你輸定了/放馬過來吧
③ Let's make this interesting 我們賭錢或別的（不要關(guān)說說), I bet you 500 she WON'T be late。老美就shut up了哈哈。

① Hand In（交進(jìn)去）： I have to hand in my homework today 我今天要交作業(yè)。
② Hand Over（交給）： Hand over your money 把錢交給我。
③ Hand Out（分發(fā)，發(fā)給）： I will hand out candy to my kids 我會分發(fā)糖給我的子女。
④ Handout（名詞，分發(fā)的文字資料）：Read the boss's handout.

【饒了你】
口語有很多種說法，你們常聽到：let you go （放你走）。
今天教大家另外一種說法：“(Let You) Off the Hook”，比如：It’s okay, I’ll let you off the hook 沒事，饒了你。
Did you lose my keys? If I find them, you are off the hook 你弄丟我的鑰匙了嗎？找到的話就饒了你。

在美國，年輕人都不穿多余一條褲子的。
雪下到膝蓋也不穿，不過我媽那時候還逼我穿 “保暖褲”：”Thermal Underwear/Pants“ [ther?mal]。
弟弟, wear your thermal pants today 把你的保暖褲穿起來。
No thermal underwear for me, Mom 不穿！
還可以簡說：Are you wearing your thermal?
5付出代價
【付出代價】
這種說法跟美語的 “付” 一樣，pay。 “Pay the Price”。
用法跟中文也一樣：
你會付出代價的 You will pay the price。
你總有一天會付出代價的 There will be a day when you pay the price。
我沒好好念書，現(xiàn)在就在付出代價 I am paying the price for not studying before。?
