Why get just anyone to officiate your wedding when you've got a line on Benedict Cumberbatch? The English actor oversaw a same-sex wedding in Ibiza Saturday (July 20), two days after he was nominated for an Emmy for BBC's "Parade's End."

Cumberbatch says he agreed to officiate the wedding, something he's never done before, because it was an old friend who asked, telling the Sun, "It's a very private, lovely thing to be asked to do."
康伯巴奇說這是一個(gè)老朋友的請求，所以他同意主持這場婚禮，這是他以前從沒有做過的事。他告訴《太陽報(bào)》：“這是場私人婚禮，被請來做主持也是件開心的事情。”

As lovely as it is, Benedict couldn't let it go without injecting a bit of humor. "Of course I'm going to make a joke after it if it goes well," he says, "I do weddings. Next will be children's parties and bat mitzvahs." At least if that whole being an actor thing doesn't work out, Cumberbatch has a good career to fall back on.
