"American Horror Story: Coven" creator Ryan Murphy has dished a few tidbits to EW about next season.

He confirms it will not be contemporary and adds, "It's either going to shoot in New Orleans or it's going to shoot in Santa Fe."
他表示，《美國恐怖故事》第四季將會是和第三季完全不同的時期里的故事，“新的一季會在新奧爾良或者是圣達(dá)菲兩個城市中選擇一個來拍攝?！?/div>

We wonder if that means they haven't decided on the exact focus yet, since New Orleans and Santa Fe have two very different vibes to them. But perhaps not -- settings can certainly be made to look any number of ways.
由于新奧爾良和圣達(dá)菲是兩個歷史文化背景完全不同的兩個城市，因此我們懷疑美恐劇組可能還沒有最后確定第四季的主題。不過也不一定，劇集的背景設(shè)定可以變化的因素很多。

One thing you won't be seeing next year is an "AHS: Coven" spinoff. Murphy confirms that that project is not happening.
Murphy表示，《美國恐怖故事：女巫集會》明年不會出衍生劇。

"We were starting to break episode 8 or 9 and we were like, 'Well, we can't kill that person off because we need them for the spin-off,'" says Murphy. "As soon as those words were said, I was like, 'There is no spin-off.' Because it took away from the joy of the show. The reason the show is successful is no one is safe ever."
