Be respectful of Intellectual Property

The next day when David put the game disc into the PS3, it worked totally fine. He thought John had been over-anxious and called him over to play games together. After a short while, David suggested that ‘We should connect the PS3 with the Internet so that we can combat against the online players!’ John doubted his suggestion because the game discs were pirated after all.

While they were having so much fun of the Internet function, the PS3 was suddenly shut down by itself. John’s prophecy came true! Hardly could this be believed by David. While David was still depressing, the doorbell rang and he went to answer the door, ‘Hello sir, we’re the immigrant officers and you have been arrested for infringing the intellectual property right.’ This came as a double blow to David as he had no ideas that playing pirated games was criminal. He regretted so much for what he did. Ever since, he had been respectful of intellectual property and even discouraging people around him from purchasing pirated goods.
