Is the price negotiable? 這價錢可以商量嗎？

1、Price：價格；價錢；物價

例句：Prices keep going up. 物價持續(xù)上漲。

Price的另外一種定義：代價

例句：The country paid a heavy price for her independence. 該國為獨立付出了沉重的代價。

2、Negotiable：可協(xié)商的；可討論的

例句：He says his claim is not negotiable. 他說他的要求是不容討價還價的。

What are your salary expectations? 你期望的薪水是多少?

句中的Salary通常是指Workers of higher skill and rank (非體力勞動者) 所得到的“工資、薪水”。

而Wages通常是指簡單勞動或體力勞動者所得的“工資、工錢”， 常用復數(shù)形式。

至于Pay是指不論工作性質(zhì)如何，針對勞動所支付的報酬，為不可數(shù)名詞。

Expectation：預料；預期；期待；期望

例句：His parents have great expectations for his future. 他父母對他的前途深寄厚望。

head-to-toe：【口】從頭到腳的，遍布全身

例句：The huge parka covered the small child from head to toe, assuring that she would be well-protected against the cold.

Lose your rag：發(fā)怒；生氣

例句：It was the only time I've ever lost my rag with someone in an office situation.

Rag：嘲笑；捉弄

例句：Everybody ragged him about his girlfriend. 人人拿他女朋友之事揶揄他。

平時常用的Lose someone's temper也是發(fā)脾氣的意思。

例句：I hate to lose my temper at someone. I always end up feeling guilty.
