【場景】一位顧客進(jìn)餐時發(fā)現(xiàn)盤中有根頭發(fā)，他將Max和Caroline喊過來詢問后，大家陸續(xù)都過來看了一眼，不知道這根頭發(fā)是誰的，于是又喊了Han老板過來鑒定。

【講解】

step aside?靠邊站，讓開。= to step sideways to make a space for someone else

step aside/down?退位；下臺；（尤指）讓位。= to leave an important job or position, especially to allow someone else to take your place

【例句】

Step aside, please - this lady needs a doctor.

請讓一讓——這位女士急需看醫(yī)生。

He is unwilling to step aside in favour of a younger person.
