Emily一家去很遠(yuǎn)的地方旅行,把大紅狗Clifford留在了家里。Clifford感到很孤單,于是決定去尋找Emily。一路上,他遇到了很多麻煩,但是沒(méi)有什么能阻止他前進(jìn),就連收費(fèi)橋也沒(méi)能讓身無(wú)分文的Clifford停下腳步......還是趕快看故事吧。
Hi, I'm Emily. This is my dog, Clifford. Usually, my family don't go very far for holidays. It's too hard to get Clifford on a bus or train.
嗨,我是Emily,這是我的小狗,Clifford。我們?nèi)彝ǔ2粫?huì)去非常遠(yuǎn)的地方過(guò)假期。因?yàn)槲覀兒茈y把Clifford帶上公車(chē)或火車(chē)。
This year is different. We are going to the mountains. Mommy and Daddy say it's too far for Clifford to walk.
但是今年不太一樣。我們要去爬山。爸爸媽媽說(shuō)帶Clifford去的話(huà)他要走太多路了。
So we let him stay with the lady next door.
所以我們讓他和隔壁的女士呆上幾天。
Clifford feels very lonely. The next morning he sets out to find us. He sniffs his way along the road.
Clifford覺(jué)得很孤單。第二天一早他就出發(fā)去找我們了。一路上他用小鼻子嗅著前進(jìn)。
Nothing stops him — not even wet cement.

And traffic jams don't stop him. Clifford just tiptoes over the cars. And then...

... He comes to a toll bridge. Clifford has no money. But that doesn't stop him.
