The door separating the back alley and the club closed behind him with a quiet click. He was once again back inside his establishment. As he headed towards his office, he took deep breaths to calm his racing heart. Many questions swarmed his head; his grasp on his briefcase handle tightened. He was about to unlock his office door when he felt that the doorknob could be turned without the use of the key... Did I forget to lock the door in my rush to get to the meeting spot? Once he entered his office, he locked the door.
